Austin had his 5th grade award ceremony today. We are so proud of all he has done this year. He received two gold medals. The first gold medal was Academic (Summa Cum Laude) for highest honors in academics (all A's). Second he received a leadership (Summa Cum Laude) gold medal for his outstanding leadership for the 5th grade. We are so proud of him and we know the Lord is even prouder!

Way-Fest 2008

This past weekend we went to way-fest with my sister and some others friends. Way-Fest is a christian music festival. Toby Mac is one of our families favorite artist and he was the headliner. Relient-K was also a featured artist of the concert. The kids had a good time running around with their friends, eating snowcones, and enjoying Noah's Ark petting zoo. With our upcoming trip to North Carolina fast approaching we thought we even have to keep the dog warm. Austin saw this cute sweater for the dog and talked me into getting it for him.
